I have one, nd there not called wolf dogs, they are called hybrids, and not everyone should own one, you really need to be an experianced dog owner, and then "graduate" to hybrid dogs.

I own a pure Wolf. I'm not a complete fan of wolf hybrids. I do not agree with the breeders, or the idea of just having one because they are "wild".

You can't own one here in the UK without a Dangerous Wild Animal Licence.

Mahooli - it is the same here in NZ. They had a hard time getting the hybrids into the country for the Narnia film.

I'm sorry I'm ignorant about wolfdogs but are they like timber wolves?
My friend has an alaskan malamute - is that similar? |

I'll get some pictures of my Wolf.
Jake, a wolfdog is a mix of domestic dog, and wolf. An Alaskan Malamute is just a breed. People are better off choosing a dog that looks like a wolf than choosing a wolfdog, unless they are extremely prepared.
