Hi
I am lucky enough to work with all large carnivores - wolves , african hunting dogs, dohle, amongst the canid family. Not to mention the Lions, tigers & many more. Am going to wolf trust tomorrow. Can send you some pics of wolves if you like. I helped to bottle feed three wolves, mum rejected them, this spring. So they imprinted on me & my RR. My daughter stroked one of the young girls. I go in with most of them, but def not others! Work in conservation now, got sick of banging my head against a brick wall with getting owners to understand their dogs training & behaviour is their responsibility - there is no quick fix! Now i help take classes & help RR welfare & breed club rescue - much more rewarding.

When people say they like wolves, so they got a Husky, is that because of the way they look?

well amber23 i love the look of wolves & the way they behave & their howl, but yes i got huskies because i love the look of them too , but i wanted to do sleddog racing also & have always wanted a husky but couldn't have 1 at home.I enjoy long walks also & being outdoors. I have had sibes for 15 yrs now. But in that 15 yrs only owned 4 , i lost 1 last year due to a serious illness he was 13.5 yrs old.

I think they're awsome, and I think that they are wildly intelligent, but I dont think I could ever own one....thats a whole new can of worms.
I am a white shepherd girl...and they're a very wolfy looking breed....this is cumano...the father of my future puppy...I think he looks very wolfy in this pic :P ![]() |

I've always adored wolves and wolf hybrids. How can I not love wolves and be a dog lover?
