Default My dog is a french porcelain hound

I feel so lonely, my dog is so not normal. He is one of 34 in north america. I cant find anyone else that has a french porcelain hound. Its kinda sad, but i still love chassy. Does anyone else on this forum have a frenchie like me??

Hi chass123, I don't have a frenchie like you but if that is Chassy in your avatar, he is very cute.

Normal ? what's normal ?

I have mutts and as far as I know they are one of a kind , I love 'em both and honestly would rather not see any that are the same .

Your dog is a cutie , I like those big ears and endearing eyes.

If you are looking for owners of the like kind , have you checked into breed clubs ?

I can't say I've even heard of them. Chassy is one of a kind, whatever the breed.

I had a look through the English kennel club list and couldn't see this breed. Even under its alternate name of Chien de Franche-Comté. Can't sat I had heard of them before but they do look interesting. Wiki did say it was the oldest French breed.
Got to say that every dog of every breed I have come across has had a distinct individual personality, which for me is what makes them all so interesting.

Welcome Anne :-) Why don't you start a thread to introduce yourself and tell us about them. I know I am anxious to hear about them (and you, of course!) and hopefully see their pictures :-)
