Oh and don't expect the dog to be too active in the house, most lurchers are just happy to sleep most of the day away, but will come alive once they are out on their walks.

Our lurcher was kenneled for most of her life (9 months) before we adopted her and she was difficult to housebreak. It took over 2 months before she could be trusted to be free throughout the house but now she does great.
