This does not come as a surprise to me as far as what canids like to eat - mine will eat fish and love it! This study showed that when salmon becomes available in autumn, wolves in British Columbia eat more salmon and less deer. What I don't quite understand how wolves get the salmon, but I guess that will have to wait for another study.
