Good Afternoon,
Me and my girlfriend have just adopted a puppy dog from the Dogs Trust in Leeds. We pick her up tomorrow and have been told she is a labrador cross but we are interested to know what she has been crossed with. The dogs Trust don't have any info on her so there's no way of knowing, i just wondered if anyone might be able to tell from the image below? Thanks for you help! ![]() ![]() Last edited by martyn007; 03-28-2008 at 10:58 AM.. |

Hi martyn and welcome to the forum! Bless you for adopting Amber!
I have a mystery mix too, and I can tell you that a lot of times shelters will say that a dog is a lab mix when they have no idea. They said mine was a "Lab / Chow" mix and when I got a DNA test done, I found out there was NO Labby in Zircon at all. ![]() Amber is very cute, and I have no idea what breed(s) she has in her! Maybe someone else will have a better idea!

Sorry Martyn I have no idea of her breed mix either. Bless you for adopting from Dog's Trust - they are my favourite charity and I sponsor two dogs there. I got my dog Jake from Dogs Trust Leeds in May 2006 - and he's been a wonderful companion.
Looking forward to more postings and pictures from you. |

Hi and Welcome to the dog forum.org. Happy you took a dog in, it is so cute. Looks like some Shepherd mixed in there, maybe some Beagle? Nice dog, give her lots of love.....enjoy it here....

she looks lab/staff/collie. but its more likely that she is a heinz 57, and both her mum and dad were cross breeds.. good luck with her ,she looks very sweet
