It now looks like it is going to be the dense husky type of coat, not longer like a Shepherds nor short like a Labs.
It must have more Husky as looks like the tail might curl up also. Nice puppy however no matter what.... ![]()

I don't know about the parents; Susie is a rescue and the shelter lady just said lab/shep/husky.
My husband and I are thinking husky fur now as well because she seems to be going grey with a bit of light tan in her saddle area. |

Impossible really to tell as she is a mix of all three, but as Pat aka Sheplovr says no matter which way the coat goes you have a lovely puppy there.
She is only a baby and the coat could change many times , but at the mo the coat looks more Husky than Gsd or Lab to me.

Just a week has passed since my last shot of Susie and her coat is definitely lighter and has a bit of a light tan saddle. Her tail also appears to be getting lighter but has a black diamond on it as well as a black tip, hope they stay it looks cool

Thanks, we think so as well
I'll keep adding shots as I think it is very interesting to see how her coat keeps changing ... fun too since we have no idea how it will all turn out! |

What a gorgeous looking pup. As everyone says whatever the breeding she's gonna be a looker. My dogs have husky/mal/gsd in them They both have the black diamond on their tails and black tips. They have quiet a light soft under coat with darker guard hairs on top. Look at the size of her paws, she's gonna be a big girl. Would love to see some more pictures as she grows.
