I agree with most of the information given above. I would also neuter your male- he is old enough to be done, and it would put a stop to any future risk of him getting to your female, or someone elses.

Oh Gosh male dogs larger than tiny ones can breed quite young, six months or so. They usually take too. Dogs should be neutered or spayed young, waiting and thinking more hormes are going to help in growth etc is silly, old wives tales, good one to put up for that trainer.
I have spayed at 3 months old, even had the best bladder control of any dogs I have had in my many years. Spay and neuter anytime after 3 months. Sooner the better if your not a Breeder.... ![]()
