Wink I want YOUR opinions on Colbi's breed!

I've had so many assumptions ever since I got her, but I still have a lot to learn. I want to know what you all think she might have in her. It doesn't matter what breed she is, but I'm very curious to know. Here's a little information:

- Weighs 29 kilograms (unsure of her height...she's a little smaller than a Golden Retriever though)
- On the outside of her coat, she has longer thick hairs. Under that is a layer of shorter soft & wavy hairs. (Not sure if this is common or not...I never really investigated any other dogs' fur before!)
- White on her chest, chin, back paws (and a little bit on her front ones), and the tip of her tail.
- 3-years-old

If there's anything else I can add (information and/or pictures) to help, let me know! On to some pictures now. I tried picking out the best ones.

Standing up:

(This one's a bit blurry, but it still shows how she stands)

So, what do you think?

she is a gorgeous dog. From the first picture she looks like she has labrador or retriever (my lab had the fur you described, making it waterproof I think)
from the white markings she might have some collie.
I am not really an expert, just a guess as I used to have a Lab and a little collie cross when I was younger.
Has she got lots of energy, is a bit mischievious or wacky? (I know its aweird question)

I definitely agree that she's part Lab. Her ears make me think there's some terrier in her. Gorgeous no matter what cross. Colbi is a great dog. I love her look.

FYI ... Ozzy fluctuates 30 to 31 kilograms (65-67 pounds). He is 24" at the shoulder which is at the top limit of his breed standard (22.5 to 24"). Male GRs should be 65-75 pounds.

Thanks for your opinion. She is a black Lab mix, but I have no clue about her other half. She is very energetic, playful, and sometimes she can be curious, but not a lot.

I wanted to add what people have guessed in the past (all mixed with Lab):

- purebred black Lab
- Border Collie
- German Shepherd Dog
- American Pit Bull Terrier
- Greyhound

GSD seems to be the most popular guess though, by random strangers we meet out on walks or at the dog park.

I also forgot to add that her muzzle is dark brown (in the area where the red circle is...see attachment)

At first glance she could be mistaken for mostly lab. But then when you take into consideration the much more refined body type, more extreme tuck up, addled length of leg and length and position of ears, sighthound comes to mind too. Possibly a combination of lab and greyhound or whippet.

Or she could just be a combination of many breeds brought about by mixed breeds producing more mixed breeds.

If I had to pick two breeds, I'd pick lab and sighthound.

Well I have always seen black Lab and GSD in her from the photos you've shown us. But you've stumped me with the second photo, she stands like my greyhounds do! But still, I think she looks like this dog... http://www.doggysnaps.com/kennels/rb...ck/?PID=488428 from the doggysnaps site I use. He is a black Lab crossed with a GSD but his owners think he possibly has something else in him too. Have a look at his other photos.

in this photo above, Carrick looks so much like the 3rd one of Colbi you posted. What do you think?

I would have to agree! When I was younger and still rose the bus to school, there was a whippet cross lab on my bus route. She had the same stance and everything, but her nose was a bit more pointed. But with the tuck and the way she holds her tail, and the leg stance.. I really think that way down the lines some sighthound may have been introduced into the making of one beautiful girl!
