Hi ajd003 and welcome to the forum.
I agree with your estimate-35 lbs full grown sounds about right.

Hello and welcome to the forum. Great to have you with us. I'd love to see pics of your pup. I hope you'll post some. If I had to guess, I'd say a Female 40-45 pounds & Male would be more like 50-55 pounds with the average Border Collie x Springer mix. Are each of the parents purebred?
Here's some information from AKC on Border Collies & Springers: Border Collie English Springer Spaniel Welsh Springer Spaniel Hope this helps.

My estimate is based on age-vs weight charts that I have developed for breeds ranging from Chihuahuas to Great Danes. What I have found that seems to be reasonably true by the way for many breeds regardless of size is that if you take the weight at 4 months and double it, you will be within 10 % of the adult weight.

I just called a friend who has a BC unneutered 2.5 year old male. He is in great condition (perfect weight for his frame) & he weighs 56 pounds.
I just based my guess on the size of typical BCs & Springers. The average weight could be very different depending on the size of the parents & their ancestors. 35 pounds for either of those breeds would be pretty light but based on that pup's development, he certainly could weigh less than those averages.

What a cute dog. He looks more in the 35 pound range to me.
