Try the prong collar.It's more efficient than the choke and does not hurt him if used,propally!.

I agree that I'd use a prong for training. My Akita loved his obedience training & he especially enjoyed all the other critters. I'm so glad he's such a great dog & is settling in nicely. Very lucky dog! Beautiful too!
