Default RIP Big Mama

I can't believe I'm doing this twice in one week. First mom's Pepper, now our beautiful Big Mama cat. Mama had been sick for a few weeks but we never thought it would end like this. She was at the vet at the beginning of July and we all thought it was just stomach trouble which she's had before. But this week her stomach started to bloat and when we took her the vet found a lot of fluid in her stomach which she said was most likely from intestinal cancer. Because there was so much fluid she thought it was best to let her go. We took her home for the night to say good bye and today she went to the rainbow bridge with Pepper. We are heartbroken.

Thanks Janice. Even though she was 15 years old we are still in shock, it was so unexpected.

I am so sorry. We lost our beloved cat, Pippi 10 years ago at age 17. She was the most unusual cat I ever knew and we could never get one without half expecting it to be like Pippi who was half human and half dog! Her best friend was the 2 pound Chihuahua next door--and the fox terrier 3 doors down. She adored kids and was 9 b11 before ever being around kids and our grandkids could carry her upside down,by her head, her tail.....and she just kept purring. Never heard her hiss or growl in her entire life. And I know how much a body can love their cat.

Thank you everyone. Mama was 15 years old but it was so unexpected and it happened on my daughters 25 birthday so it was a really hard day for her. We are having a charm with Mama's paw print on it made and we had a paw print made of Pepper too. I will post pictures of them when we get them both.
