Yeah that makes sense. What type of training do you find works best? Ive been trying click/reward but it doesnt seem all that grand. He will learn the tricks but its a lot of work compared to corrective training which i kind of dont like due to the scolding necessary

nice looking dog I had considered adopting a blue heeler but then decided against it at the last minute. maybe someday. good to see your little fella now has a home

Default Texas Heeler

I was Google searching Aussie/ ACD cross and found the name for a Texas Heeler. Well I guess that is what our Beau Boy is. He has a lot of drive and is very anxious over new people, dogs and new animals. We got him when he was 6 months old and he is now 2. He has started training in Agility, Bite work, herding and Obedience. Love him to death but sometimes his anxiety drives me up the wall.
