Default Having trouble with local clubs!

I hope im not the only one that seems to be having trouble with my local clubs!
I've email 3 of them in my area, two of which i havent heard back from in since i've emailed them about 2 or more weeks ago!
The only one i did hear back from isnt offering obedience nor agility right now! I just replied to them asking what are some of my options to get my dogs involved if they are not offering them right now, so im going to wait to hear back!
Does anyone have any ideas of things i can do?
(i wish i was born into a family who already was into this sorta stuff, so it'd be easier to get into contact with people )

They don't have phone contacts at the individual clubs that haven't responded via email?

Trust me, I have always had trouble with clubs. I dont know why they give someone so much hassle. It terrible that you emailed them and they haven't even got back with you. They have done me the same way.

OK ... I have to step in here for a second & possibly defend the individual clubs.

Most clubs have volunteers who "man the email" ... these people have lives too & aren't always "johnny on the spot" ... they have dogs, their own classes they attend & teach, vet emergencies, real jobs, real families, etc.

How long has it been since you emailed them? Our club has a break between sessions (usually a 2 week break) & those same volunteers might just be taking a break too if all classes are full & in mid-season ... sooooooooo ... I'd try repeat emails &/or a phone call.

To add to KatzNK9's post.

Having been a secretary of a breed club for 20 years and an officer for many more I can verify that everyone connected to any local dog club is unpaid and overworked. Some are more dedicated than others.

A phone call to the training director or club secretary is your best bet. If you can't find the time to phone them, email them your phone number and the hours you can be reached at that number. By doing it that way, they can call you when they aren't already overwhelmed.

If your first contact doesn't return your calls, try another one until someone does.
