I LOVE Beagles - it's hard to resist those big brown eyes. Hubby had a three-legged Beagle named Ben years ago and Ben was a great dog. He always used to run off on hikes though. I never thought Snoopy looked like a Beagle though.

That was a very interesting and informative link, thanks for posting!

I wanted a beagle soooo bad but we live in an apartment and I thought it wasn't fair because I know they like to roam about and we are pretty small here. They are sooo cute though!!!

When I got my first Beagle, Snoopy, I lived in an apartment. He was okay there, as long as he got his daily walks, lots of snuggles and trips to the dog park.

He is happier in the house we are in now, but he didn't do as badly in an apartment as most people assume. Maybe it also depends on the individual dog as well.

My mom has a beagle mix, and he is the sweetest dog in the world. He was a rescue, and came with a previously broke but healed tail, and a fear of just about everything. He is a sweetheart though! Was housebroken in like a week (with maybe a handful of accidents) and is just a sweet boy.

For all the beagle lovers I could really use some advice. He's four months old. I'm not sure if it's cause he's a puppy still or what but he doesn't just nibble, he like bites kinda hard. He does it when he's playing...but if i tell him no, pop him on the butt, or on his nose, or spray him with a water bottle...he thinks i'm playing and tried bitting me again. Any advice??
