Google the Golden Retriever Club of Scotland, you should find a list of breeders or details of how to find them on there. They also have contacts for Goldie rescue

Its surprisingly difficult to get hold of Goldies, common as they are. It took 3 days of solid phoning (my phonebill was Enormous), emailing, and internet searching and even then it was luck that led me to our pup, (the one other litter I found hadnt even been born yet!) plus according to my breeder they only tend to breed Goldies once a year, so warn your friend they may have to be patient, but it will be more than worth it in the end

(I hope its ok for me to put this link up, if its not then please remove it)

I came across this site again which helped me out looking for Cai, http://www.kennels.co.uk/Gundogs/GoldenRetriever.html
if you scroll down theres a list of studs with contact details, who shoudl be able to point you in the right direction

Hi Doug

Off hand I don'tactually know of a name, but there are lots of Goldies being shown at any of the shows I have attended and if your friend was to go to a local show I am sure some of the exhibitors would be able to point him/her in the right direction.

Have just had a thought, John Connor who is involved with Land Of Burn's Canine Club has goldies and should be able to tell you if anyone is having a litter shortly. I will pm you his phone number.
