pretty dogs u have there. I imagine some more will pop up. Long ago I had a black Cocker named Puddles, wonder why?

No, the time I had him Jackie Kennedy had one and I named it after her cocker. It got kinda mean however. Best of luck with your dogs they are very nice...

I had a buff English Cocker a few years back. He was great at catching mice.

I have a blue roan English Cocker and a collie, but before them I had a liver/white English Springer who was an amazing dog. I have a pic of my current cocker - it's not the best one though!

Hi there brand new to this site and thought I would 'try' and pop up a picture of Japser. He is 16 months old now and is great. The only problem is he has been such a good addition to our house, that my wife is trying to persuade me to get another pup!!!!

Cheers for now

James

Cool I have added him onto my avatar.

Hi I'm new here too.
I have 2 cockers..jake who is a laid back 5 year old blue roan, and Izzie who is 7 months old on her K.C. papers she is a blue roan cocker spaniel but my vet said she is a black & white, I was wondering if anyone can help, as I am now thinking if she is even is a cocker she's a lot more muscular than jake and thicker around the hips, and almost as big, I personally think she may be a springer or sprocker or feild cocker..I dont know, I'm confused, at the end of the day it makes no real difference to us, we love her to bits, her bouncy feistiness and enthusiasm bring us great pleasure
I'll add a pic (sorry the quality is not great)...let me know what you think

hi...im not an expert on spaniels but i think izzie looks as if she may have some springer in her...so maybe she is a sprocker??? she is a cutie though! maybe you could gogle some breeders and email them a photo of izzie and ask their opinion? i did this with ruby, she was sold to me as a blue roan and then after a few weeks we notices some light brown markings on her. i am now informed that she is blur roan and tan, some times known as a tri or parti...but im not bothered...ruby is just ruby!!!

We havent got a dog at the moment but am trying to convince hubby to get another one, we look after a springer occasionally and fell in love, lively (even though shes 12 years old now) full of fun, affectionate, and her tail never stops wagging. Would love to get a springer but have been told they are hard to train, any advice welcome from you experienced owners
