Default Kelpie x English Bulldog

So g'day ya'll I'm new here I've just recently got my Kelpie x English bulldog pup he is 10weeks I got him when he was 8weeks. His very affectionate and very intelligent he already knows his name will come and sit on command he is starting to lay down on command (sometimes) he is a bundle of joy and loves cuddles.

I was just wondering if anyone had ever owned or met another Kelpie x English Bulldog it's a strange but a beautiful mix.

I'm not 100% sure of the rules due to first post but if anyone wants comment on traits or personality's or stories of their Kelpie or English Bulldogs I'm happy to hear if it's not against the rules.

Thanks guys, Andrew.

Welcome Andrewtrunks, great to have you join us :-) Your dog does sound like an interesting mix and certainly isn't one I have come across living in NY :-) We'd love to see some pictures of him and hear more about him. What is his name?
We don't have any rules regarding first posts, just that all members need to post within the guidelines of the Terms of Service and we have a very friendly and supportive membership.

Welcome Andrew! That's a unique mix you have there. I have not owned either a Kelpie or English Bulldog, nor a mix of the two- but I just wanted to comment and say Mixed breeds are "one of a kind". By that I mean, it's unpredictable on what you'll get(in size, energy level, etc)- Puppies from the same litter can be completely different from each other in every way. So even if someone has the same mix, their dog could be completely different from yours

My suggestion would be looking into both breeds mixed in your pup, that way you have an idea of what you might get!

Please share pictures of your pup when you can! I'd love to see it

Thank you JGLI for the friendly reply!

His name is Trunks (from dragon ball z) I'm an Australian as well.

Trunks always comes to work with me and socialises with all the other dogs and puppies that come in and he attends my puppy preschool classes. He is a very good boy but sometimes he does get a bored and turns into typical hypo dog, but it's always for fun. He has tones of positive attention and absolutely loves to please me.

I'd love to post pictures I have tones on my phone, but I don't know how to upload on the forums so any tips there would be absolutely awesome too!

If you click on the link to Newbie's guide in my signature it will take you to a page that will not only explain how to post pictures, but has other helpful information to navigate the forum as well. With my phone, I find that I have to upload them to my computer first, then post them to the gallery here... but my phone is a lot smarter than me and I am still trying to learn it

Thanks I'll let him know others find him cute.

He uses his paws as hand too it's really interesting, he holds hands and grabs things. He also wraps himself around me for cuddles and loves to lick.
