Some of these are really adorable; even thinking of grooming (and especially lately with snow) the Bergamasco Shepherd is exhausting!

We had this dog in the news recently here, with a split nose ! I'd never seen or heard of it before.



He is named snuffles. He was looking for a home, this is the article which has no mention of any breed with a split nose, just refers to a congenital defect .

He's a beautiful boy, hope he gets adopted. Not surprising that they consider his nose to be a defect. The article I posted said that the split nose pointers are virtually unknown outside of Turkey. Snuffles must have some far away relatives .
