Default How to make a living breeding dogs

I was poking around on the internet (actually looking for opinions on dogs bred for a purpose being placed into homes as pets) and just about fell off my chair - I was amazed at all the self-help articles (and e-books you can BUY) that tell you how to get started making a living breeding dogs.

This one boggled my mind!

On quick glance the rest of the site appears to be pet friendly. There's a place there to rate that article and also to leave comments. I rated it and left my comments. If we all leave comments, maybe it will be removed or at least not taken seriously.

Their first point was the one that really made me upset, and then they go on to say what to you could feed them, don't shoot me down if you disagree but I don't think that person really cares about the dogs.

Hrm... interesting typo! How does one get a dog to stand still long enough to be breaded?! Gotta ponder that for a few!

i think people that breed for a living or to make money are the same as puppymills
etc
it is totally wrong!!
i remember when i was a kid dogs would have pups just because they are dogs and thats what they do and i never herd of "registered dog breeders or byb'ers back then!!!
it gotten out of control
even with the registered breeders ;(

Years ago all we ever heard of was crossbred puppies, never heard of pedigree dog's our family was reared with old english sheep dogs, but even then there were latch key dogs in the neighbourhood, there tends to be more dogs now then there used to be, and more pedigrees.
I rember the lady across the road was the old lady who had pedigrees next to ours and they were whippets judy and kevia i used to help her walk them when i was 9, (they killed our rabbit and after that i never took them out agin, i didnt know then dogs kill rabbits i thought they just wanted to play.)

Money is the root of all evil, that what they say isnt it?
