Default Breed suggestions

We're looking into getting a pup, and were thinking of going down the breeders route as oppose to rescue.
We have 3 dogs, all cross breeds, and medium sized eg bigger than a collie, smaller than a labrador.

We'd ideally like the following.....
Medium to large breed
Excellent with other dogs (obviously it'd be well socialised anyway)
Not too vocal, ours bark at the postie but thats about it!!
Exercise (once fully grown), is about 1-2hours a day, and at weekends we're out walking all day in the country
Able to be left for 4 hours (once out of the puppy stages).

We'd be very grateful for any suggestions,

Can I ask why you want to buy a dog from a breeder when there are so many rescue dogs needing homes? Why not contact a specific breed rescue who may be able to find your perfect dog? I would never have anything but a greyhound after adopting my first one 7 years ago, we now have 6. They are such a fabulous dog to have around and so many need loving homes.
