Question I need some tips on breeding

My 3 yr old boxer should be coming into heat in a month.....does anyone have any tips on what i should do while shes pregnant? also i was just courious on how much to sell my puppies for, they will be akc reg..... do u think i should try to sell the whole litter to a pet shop, i know that alot of pet shops buy there puppies from puppy mills and other awful places like that...its just a hobby for me and i would rather know where there going, than sell them to a shop...but i was just wondering if it would be ok.. everyones input will be appreciated!!

Keep it nice people!

I don't think you should really breed your dog. There is no need to add to the millions of unwanted pets put to sleep in shelters every year.

Ditto.

But it's your decision, not mine. At least don't sell them to a shop. Keep them in a good, nurturing (and spacious) environment until they go with their new owners.

Why do you want to breed? Is your dog a good example of the breed? How do you know for sure she is?

BOTB Boxers, have you bred before?
If not you may want to take a look at these sites-
http://www.geocities.com/bluegracepw...lbreeding.html
http://www.geocities.com/virtualbreeding/vb_2.html
They take you through a "virtual breeding" experience so you can experience what might happen.

What Tankstar meant was: Is your dog an example of the breed in other's eyes as well? The dog really should have been in conformation competions to prove that.
