Smile First Time Ever... Pictures

I thought I'd finally get around to sharing some pictures of my dogs as well as show you scenes of where we live and where we take our walks and hikes.

All tuckered out and getting warm by the fire

One of the beauiful places right by my house where we often hike

Thank you so much for your kind words. I would LOVE to have a get together here! That would be so cool. Of course, my Doberman is a butthead about other dogs.

Cookie, you and your hubby can come here and I'll go there. We can trade for a few weeks. LOL. I've always wanted to see one of the countries where some of my ancestors are from. I know it's gorgeous in the UK, Scotland, Ireland. I'd love to visit there, as well as Germany because I'm half German. I've only seen pictures and it's absolutely breathtaking and so very interesting with such an old history and culture. Here, it is stupendously beautiful, but very wild and "savage." LOL. Sometimes out in these moutains, I'm half expecting to meet up with a reeeeeeeeeellllly old ancestor from the stone age.

I call the two little ones, (not exactly beauty contest winners) both Chihuahuas, but I think Jose`, the little funky, grey one's mother had a "get together" with the mail man.

Anyhow, those too little dumplings are great dogs, very friendly, not the stereotypical "hyper" and always game for any hike the big dogs can go on...up to about 4 or 5 miles. (that's all I'm game for these days) They're fantastic hikers and can fit inbetween downed trees which are covered with fallen branches better than the big dogs. They absolutely scamper and zoom up and down hills, jumping over or scooting under logs and things. So, if anyone ever thinks you have to have a big, power house of a dog in order to go hiking or be active in some other way, forget it. Take it from Chulita and Jose`. LOL.

Anyhow, thanks everyone for the nice responses!
