Default Afternoon Walk

Hey everyone,

Tori (xsyd&palm) came over with Syd to go for a long walk with Colbi and I this afternoon. We encountered many other dogs along the way; a German Shorthaired Pointer, Yorkie, Standard Poodle, a Cocker Spaniel, and more. We took lots of pics and videos for you all! You'll have to wait a little longer for the videos though; they are taking forever to upload. And for now you'll have to manage with only my pictures. Tori has a lot on her camera, too, that she will post in this thread later on.

Anywho, here are the pics!

More coming!

Colbi

Marley, a gorgeous Standard Poodle that kept trying to play with Colbi and Syd. He was such a sweet little boy.

A few videos coming up, and pictures from Tori!

Yeah, in that area it is. That was actually out in a small field by our power dam. It's really great for bringing dogs out there. They get to socialize with all the other dogs, run around as much as they like..

I forgot to mention, we had a sad incident when we went out as well.

We were watching all three of the dogs play (Colbi, Syd, and Marley) and then a car came down the path beside the field. Then an Australian Shepherd came darting out from the direction of the car. He was running at full speed and took off down the path and into the forest. A lady came out of the car and we asked if that was her dog. She said "No, I'm a cruelty investigator for the OSPCA. I've been following this dog. He's been running full speed from McConnell Ave." (which is pretty far away from where we were; on the opposite side of town, to be exact.)

Here's the directions from McConnell (green) to where we were (red).

I don't know if it's normal for an Aussie to run full speed for that long or not, but it just seemed odd. If the cruelty investigator was following him from where he lived... She left after, and the Aussie never came back out of the forest. The lady that was there with us suggested that the dog was drugged?

I hope the SPCA goes out and looks for the dog.
