Default No more "hand-me-downs"

Last year cold weather arrived and I realized that I didn't have a sweater for Annie. I ended up taking one of Dunbar's sweatshirt and with stick-on Velcro (I don't sew) fit it to Annie as best as I could. This year, I ordered both kids matching sweatshirts. Dunny didn't want to put his on, but here's my little girl modeling hers.

Thanks, it does fit well. I was so glad. Both of my "kids" have deep hound dog chests and always have to buy one size larger than dogs their sizes and weight would normally wear. So glad I found these on the internet. They stated the chest measurements in the size chart. Dunny's also fits him. I tried it on him when they arrived in the mail in November.

She looks adorable and I'm sure camera-shy Dunbar looks equally as dashing :-) I love the color. Tell me about this stick-on Velcro! I've never seen it but it sounds like it could be extremely useful!

JGLI , Walmart carries (at least they did last year) packages of it. It has the adhesive on it. You just pull off the protective strips and press the Velcro pieces on whatever you are working on. Walmart's packages contain short strips. However, online you can buy rolls of it if you need long pieces. You could probably also find some version of it in a fabric store...

Thanks, Techie. She too seems to know that it looks good. She prances around, as if she is showing it off. LOL!

Thanks! That velcro is definitely something I'd be interested in picking up. When I had "visiting puppies" here last winter, I had them in some of Cheynie's outgrown hoodies but they were still to big for such little pups. I ended up using duct tape under the belly to help the hoodies stay on but I think the velcro is a much better idea.
