Default Puppies to North Shore

Margarita, Kahlua, and Tequila left to go to North Shore today, where they were a big hit :-) They are so adorable, have such great personalities, and were just a delight to have here. I am certain they will be snapped up very quickly. I wasn't sure I would be able to get them there today because we had 8 inches of snow yesterday. Schools on LI were closed and were on a delayed opening today as well. Thankfully, the main roads were good and we were able to go because..... THREE MORE puppies are coming tomorrow night! I have to meet them at JFK tomorrow night and they will be spending a few days here before going off to North Shore as well. Right now Cheynie is out cold, taking a well-deserved nap, but I am certain she is going to be thrilled to learn she will have more puppy friends coming when she wakes up :-)
I really have to mention the incredible staff at North Shore. The pictures below are of the pups with one of the employees I have met with several times and in all honesty, whatever they pay this woman.. they should double it. She is so caring, so warm and welcoming, spends so much time with the puppies when we get there and makes sure they get special attention during their stay. The people at North Shore just love these pups and you feel like you are bringing them presents they can't wait to receive.
The picture of Tequila is just a blur but it made me laugh because it is so much her personality... she wants to explore everything and meet everyone so she is always in motion. The picture of Cheynie made me laugh as well. I didn't realize I had her toy in my hand when I was taking the picture and she wanted it BIG TIME to play with Laura :-)
And more fun to come tomorrow night!

I guess you got photo bucket working okay again.
I hope Cheney gets well rested up too.

Ah, I wish.. PhotoBucket still isn't being friendly to me and these are just the thumbnail option from the gallery.
After I dropped the puppies off yesterday, Cheynie and I went to the bank and to Petco. She was already OTT from going to North Shore and Petco is always an 'exciting' experience for her. As soon as we got home, she curled up and took the longest nap...good thing because tonight will be more excitement for her.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry for you with all that snow .

The pictures are, as always, gorgeous. They are all very lucky puppies to get to come and stay with you, and Cheynie of course getting to babysit them

Have fun with the new babies. Looking forward to more pictures.

Great job that you and Cheynie are doing. How long has it been since your yard wasn't covered in snow?

Well, it seems like since last August but the snow that is out there has been there since the end of January. We kept having cold weather and more and more snow so that it never did melt!
