Default Gracie and Caicos from TCSPCA are here

Gracie and Caicos, two little girls from Turks and Caicos, arrived tonight just in time for the second half of the SuperBowl :-) They are tiny little girls and too adorable for words! Such sweet little puppies! They will be staying here until Wednesday-ish. Cheynie would like them to stay forever :-)

They are beautiful. I have been to Turks and Caicos and have seen the sad dogs and cats that wonder about. Where are these two headed after their stay with you?

Wonderful pictures JGL! Cheney seems to like these pups too. Maybe she was a mother in a previous life

The puppies that I courier and foster are from TCSPCA (Turks and Caicos SPCA). Normally they go to NSALA (North Shore Animal League America) after spending a few days with me, though it has happened that the person "courier-ing" them on the plane has fallen in love with them on the flight and the pup has been adopted at their airport (with permission and consultation with the Director). One of these pups also will likely be adopted before officially going to North Shore by a person who already has a potcake from TCSPCA that they brought home when visiting there and are wanting another.

These two little girls have to be the easiest fosters I have had; they are so good and such fun to have here. It amazes me how Cheynie realizes that these two are smaller and is gentle with them. One little peep out of them and she hurries over to see what is wrong :-)

Both pups are precious. So proud (as I know you are) of Cheynie and what a great big sister she is to the pups. You and Cheynie have fun with your gorgeous little house guests.

That is really cool! I wish we had an SPCA in Chile. We are in so much trouble here, especially in Santiago. Now, some jack-ass governor made it legal to hunt street dogs. Because that is so much responsible than educating people about dogs or building shelters and hospitals. So now any dog without a leash on the street of Santiago can be legally murdered. We have as many street dogs as some cities have pigeons. Both of my pups are off the street. It's an awful situation in a city that calls itself the most developed in South America
