Default Death of a Christmas Toy

This was a cute, squeaky Christmas toy, which became a red rag. It had to be throw away when little pieces of red material were being eaten. It was dug out of the waste paper basket under the desk, so it ended up in the kitchen garbage can. Annie is still looking for it. Poor baby!

Kris has not had any new stuffy toys lately so I picked one up at the Share Shed at the Dump. People leave stuff there that is too good to throw away and it is free. Brought it home and she took at and ran into the yard with it. I did not realize it had a noise maker in it and when Kris squeezed it, it let out a really loud squeal. She dropped it like a hot potato and won't go near it. Guess that is one toy she won't chew up and take the stuffing out of.

Seriously, we have been through countless stuffies and Cheynie is a "master eviscerator" . These are toys from PetSafe, from their Pogo Plush line, and they are just terrific. She hasn't been able to destroy one of them yet with the exception to the tail on the beaver (it's still there, just a bit chewed). They don't have stuffing inside of them, but more of some sort of a frame which has good spring back and is very durable. Having spent more time than I can tell you up to my knees in stuffing, these are worth looking into and reasonably priced. Just last week I also picked up the Frizzle Ball.

Will have to see about getting one or two of these for Dunny and Annie.

Most of them, yes. The ones that do have a free floating squeaker that she can get to to squeak but not to tear out of the toy because of that flexible frame thing inside. For Christmas I had picked up several of those mat type squeaker stuffed, some had as many as nine squeakers in them. She loved them because there were a bunch of squeakers to tear out and I hated them because all I kept doing was taking the "liberated" squeakers out of her mouth before she could swallow them It's a nice, secure feeling to watch her play with the pogo plush toys and know that squeaker isn't coming out no matter how hard she tries and that I won't have to go down her throat to get it

Smartwool socks, chair cushions, throw pillows. Not safe in my house. We have 5 baby gates. 5! And my house is only 1,000 sq feet!

I went to the Pet Safe site and see no toys but googling Pogo Plush toys, I find them in many places.

Ok...I just ordered the large ball and the large beaver from Chewytoys.com
