Default Cheynie and the snow

I think Cheynie was a little disappointed that we didn't get more snow this past Friday... but she won't be disappointed for long. We have a blizzard coming at us that is supposed to start tomorrow night and extend through late Tuesday, bringing TWO FEET of snow :-( Of course I picked a great time to injure the acl and hamstring in my left leg.. I spend the early part of this week on crutches and have worked my way to getting around with a cane. It's healing but I'm not exactly ready to trade the cane for a ski pole yet...I just can't figure out how an island dog with zero undercoat can be so happy in the snow!

It's because Cheynie is an adventuress! What a girl! Hope you are doing better. Hope you and Cheynie are all set for 2 days inside with the blizzard coming. Watched your weather forecast on tv, and it definitely didn't look nice. You two stay warm and safe.

You are getting a blizzard and all our snow is melting as it has gone up to 50 degrees, (10C) certainly not our usual January weather. What snow is on the ground has a hard crust on it so the little dogs can run over the top but Kris just sinks. With all the ice I am sure Kris is going to hurt herself as she tears around on it and has fallen a few times. I would much rather have two feet of snow than this ice!! Had to put those Nordic ice things on my boots this morning to walk anywhere.
