Default Kris

Kris was stalking Remmy this morning. Note the SNOW on the ground. I know it will melt off but hate to see it coming.

She is just adorable...it's hard to look ferocious with a stuffed bunny in your mouth :-) Does Remmy like to be chased?
I can't believe you have the "s" word already!!

Remmy doesn't mind being chased as long as she does not step all over him, then he gets mad at her and when he growls at her, she lies down so she usually does not push it too far. She is getting way better at not running the little dogs over so even Kiska runs with her.

I was curious as it reminded me of when the puppies from TSPCA were here with Cheynie. I was wondering if Remmy likes to be chased and if Kris likes to be the "chase-ee" or the "chaser". Cheynie isn't a "big dog" (she is 21 inches floor to shoulder and about 24 inches the base of her neck to the base of her tail) but, of course, compared to the puppies she was quite big. She just loved romping with them, chasing them and being chased outside and there was a lot of bumping, rolling, and puppy clumsiness in their play. It surprised me how great Cheynie was with them, when they got too tangled up or if she wanted to get away, she would just leap over them and then they would take off following her. At first I was being a helicopter mom to make sure no one was getting stepped on and was safe, but I really had no need to be and stepped back. Cheynie does like to be chased and the puppies did a lot of that but it was both interesting and fun to see how they worked it all out.
(I might have 'houseguests" again soon as I heard from TCSPCA asking if I could pick up incoming puppies at the airport, keep them a day or so again, and then transport them to North Shore as with the others. There are two ready to come up to NY and they are just looking for a returning T&C visitor to courier them on the flight. I hope they find one soon! :-)

One time when I was down at my sister's, her daughter had their male Rat Terrier with them. He is probably about 20 lbs. and Kris had a great time racing around with him chasing her. Kris uses her feet a lot when she is playing and the little dogs do not appreciate being swatted with them. She has gotten better and races past them and they chase her. If she turns around they stop, until she starts running again. For a while Kiska who is only about 7 lbs. was a little scared of Kris when they were outside as Kris has flattened her too many times. She plays with her in the house when she is lying down and now is not afraid to run with her.

What a hysterical video! She is just such a beautiful dog. I had a great laugh at her stalking abilities.

Stalking and all, my favorite thing is Kris with her toy bunny in her mouth....It makes her look like an overgrown, cute puppy

You are so right! The stalking thing would have looked so fierce without the toy hanging from her mouth. The reason I was laughing so hard when I watched it.... over and over again.
