Default Here's Loki, just got her today.

She's still kinda worn out from the spay surgery, but she's doing fine and all. Real skiddish around everything, but she seems to take a liking to me and won't leave my side for anything. SPCA says she's 4 even though her adoption card said she was 2, but oh well.

She didn't know her previous name so I named her Loki. Seems to response well to commands without a name attached and is very treat driven, don't know if thats a good or bad thing.

And she'll be out walking and just randomly stop and hold up her front right paw and won't budge. Don't know if that's her wanting to hunt or what, but it takes a few seconds for her to snap out of it and continue walking.

What a cutie she is! Congratulations! It looks like she made herself right at home with a nylabone (?). I'm sure she will learn her new name very quickly and I hope we get to see many more pictures of her.

She follows me EVERYWHERE. And found out tonight she whines a lot when I leave her alone. Can't be having her whine whenever I leave for work at nights in an apartment.

I think she is probably just going to need some time to settle in and adapt. Have you practiced going out the door and leaving her alone for just a few minutes then coming back in?

Sadie could not leave my side and howled and cried if I left when she first came to live with us too. She doesn't whine cry anymore and can stand to be out of my sight unless I might happen to be doing something that might be interesting. She was 4 when I brought her home so I think when Loki understands that you are not leaving her forever, she will settle in..
