More snow :-( Why is it so much fun to stick your head right into it?

Our temperature has finally warmed up from -25 to -10 and yesterday and today it has been trying really hard to snow.

Kris also comes in with a nose full of snow when she has been out but usually it is because she is trying to find all those bones she buried in the snow.

Just think of all that enjoyment she is getting from it, and how much it must wear her out to be racing round and round in circles

All you have to do is watch mum . . . . .

Roly isn't allowed a walk at the moment, which is really putting him in a huff with me, he seems to forget that yesterday morning he wouldn't even stand on his leg

Oh, I hope Roly's leg is all right! Did he injure himself?

This snow is one of the uglier ones. It is heavy and very wet whereas the other two snowfalls we had were powdery and light. And to make matters (and especially me!) even less happy, now we are supposed to get ANOTHER storm tomorrow night with 3-5 inches more!!

Sorry for those of you who are getting more snow. Our weather has warmed up to above freezing, with rain. However, I'll take the rain over freezing weather any day. Glad that Cheynie likes the snow and hope Roly is doing better.

Even more snow . . . . . you must have all of ours too.

His limp has totally disappeared already. He hobbled a little on Saturday night so I gave him and extra a rimadyl. On Sunday morning during our walk he started to hobble again, so I carried him home. When I came back from shopping a couple of hours after the walk he wouldn't even put his paw on the floor! After a quick trip to the vets he was told to have an extra rimadyl a day. She suggested supplements, but he is already on them, couldn't have an anti-inflammatory injection as he his already on tablets and tramadol along with his epiphen would make him very sleepy.

So very short walks, and I have been carrying him down stairs.

He also had a chemical castration while he was there! To help with the little anal nodules he has.

Poor Roly. Hope he continues to get better and his pain lessens.
