Default Puppies learning to howl

These are just too cute!! I think I like the little guy at the 0:52 and the golden retriever best.

How cute!!!
I'm not so sure I'd want to teach any of my dogs to howl.

techie, my neighbors dogs howl, and they are pugs. I know beagles are great howlers. I had never really thought about it much, but come to think of it, none of my Collies have every howled, and neither does Scooter.

Susie howls fairly often especially if the sirens go off at the Fire Hall. She is the only one of my dogs that does it. I can never stop laughing at puppies' howling.

My niece has hounds they hunt with and although there is no sound you can tell what this puppy thinks it has treed.

Cheynie's howl is, at this point, nearly as embarrassing as her bark. At her last vet visit a woman came in with an adult yorkie who began barking at Cheynie. The tiny yorkie had a far deeper bark than Cheynie's attempt to reply. She does howl, usually when I am getting her dinner together but it has a long way to go before other dogs aren't going to laugh at it!

So cute! It's funny to see the people with the puppies. It was funny when we got Dunbar, to watch my husband teaching 11 month old, 65 lb., Dunbar to howl and bark. We think his previous owners must have punished him for barking and howling. It was a month after we got him before he ever "said a word". He's quite vocal now when he wants something...maybe my husband should have left well enough alone.

I thought the dogs being vacuumed and the sleepy corgis were funny too.
(Please excuse my typing for the next couple of weeks. My computer glasses are being replaced and it's REALLY hard to type looking through my bifocals. )
