Default Too hot to play

91 degrees! in September....and unfortunately, 72% humidity to go with it. I had Cheynie outside to play with Incredibubbles but it was just too hot and humid. Instead of chasing them around as she usually does, she was content just to snag them where they landed.

And after a nice cool down play with the garden hose, of course we had to play in the dirt

She will be 15 weeks old tomorrow...wow is she growing!

Our temperatures are supposed to be record highs this weekend, up in the 30's (about 90 degrees F). I am not looking forward to running Agility this weekend in that heat. We have three classes on Saturday and one on Sunday. Neither Remmy nor I like to run when it is that hot. Last trial of the year though so hope we do better than we have been doing this year.

It's very humid and hot for here too I feel for you. When we got back my back was wet from sweat! (This is Oregon whine, want to try some?)

In my water abundant state in the Great Lakes region, you can almost drink the air it's so humid. My daughter just moved to a dry desert state near some mountains and I'm envious. Although, she is still seeing smoke from a forest fire that is 3 hours away. It took me 10 years to get used to the winter here, and now I detest hot and humid!

Record September temps in Pacific NW, too. 90+ f.
Sadie was not as anxious to go out and when she did, she made a beeline for the shady spots.

LOL know what you mean I too thought should i get my coal fire going!!! Out of princable i won't put the heating on just yet!! British Gas already charges too much like the majority of energy suppiers do and don't get me started on loading up charges this is a rip every 1/4 (13 weeks) the price ( per Kwh/Unit) almost doubles for the first 200 units this happens every 1/4. So everyone feels it and if you are a low user of the energy it could quite easily spill over to the next 1/4 period Oh I have ordered 2 bags of coal for next week! Might just have enough coal in my bunker for a couple of nice fires
