Default "11 Ways To Cool Off, As Told By Overheated Dogs"

It's hot :-( and humid :-( and as much as I dislike snow I hate high humidity in the heat even more. We've been sneaking out for walks when the sun goes down and the streets have stopped melting, but just long enough to 'take care of business' and then hurry home to the ac where one can actually breathe again. (what happened to June which is usually one our nicest months of the year? My area is on course to set a record for the wettest June) So... some creative ways to beat the heat as suggested by our furry friends in this pictorial:

Even here in the northwest we get temps too hot for much doggy activity. Sadie, fortunately, has a creek across the road that she loves to chase sticks in. She always knows where the shady spots are. I'm going to make her a pool out of an old car top carrier or buy her a kiddie pool.

MrJohn, I have a kiddie pool for Harley. He loves the water. We have had very unusual temps here, just like JGLI. Harley loves to be out doors, and I have to force him to come in. You know it's bad when the State of Delaware is hotter than Miami Florida. We had a tornado hit my neighborhood a few weeks ago. We don't "get" tornados here. Thankfully my house was not hit, but the neighborhood had a lot of damage. My neighbors built in swimming pool, is now an above ground pool. The damage was unreal.
