Bb Find a post by one of the mods. They have links to directions in their signature.

techie i will take a look but fear it's more a technical problem. . If using my older set top box i have to type manualy the long URL from the pics in my gallery and yes it works! But with more modern equipment like my Intempo Evolve (running on the Android OS) it's done automaticaly so I can upload from my Intempo Evolve to my gallery so no problem there. What I want to do is in a post Manage Attachments and use the upload feature straight to my post but when clicking on Choose File it doesn't allow me to Choose a file which it should do. Providing it uses the same FTP (File Transfer Protocols) as it does on uploading the files to my gallery then it should work with my Intempo Evolve. Now In replying to this and any post I see Fonts/Sizes/Colors/Smilies and Attachements all are drop down menus!
Has any one used this Attachments drop down menu with success?
Basicaly I am looking for a automatic way to get pics in a post is this possible? Prehaps Chipp can help regarding this?

Are the pics on your computer?
Just use the 'go advanced' option...then click the paper clip at top.
You'll get a window that lets you browse for the pics you want to upload.

The pics are on my newer device which uses FTP (File Transfer Protocols) and I have no problem uploading pics to my Df gallery from this newer device, but when I come to either upload from the gallery to a post or use Manage Attachments (still using my newer device) I get the Choose File option but nothing happens! The OS is Android and completes step 1 the uploading of files to the DF gallery so the FTP part does work! it's step 2 either from the DF gallery to a post or Manage Attachments but I will try the paper clip option in a Advanced option! I know it's not my newer device as it does use FTP like a pc does! Thanks for your reply Mr John

I think I've only ever managed to post thumbnails to threads, never full size pics like lots of other seem to be able to do.

Attaching thumbnails is quite straight forward, if I remember rightly. I used the 'Advance options' and manage attachments to post this

It would be helpful if some one has used a Android device like a mobile phone or tablet to post pics directly to a post! so if you have used a device running on the Android OS then please tell me how you did it. Iam trying to avoid the manual typing of a pics URL. Thanks in advance guys
