Default Miya got her x-back harness :D

Pictures of her modeling it attached It was a different blue then I thought it would be :/ I thought it would be a more aqua color but oh well.

It fits great, which is good. It took so long to get here though(about two months). I'm going to start training with her next week(working on ground commands) after she gets her stitch taken out. (Vet said I could have started it yesterday but...I'll wait a little longer ) Once she learns the commands I'm going to get some spare tires to work with her so she knows the commands and can get use to pulling weight.

Next payday I'm going to order my scooter.

The weather is starting to clear up(finally the snow is starting to go away) hopefully it stays that way and starts warming up!

I'm excited about it for sure, makes me really excited for when I move later this year(will be moving to a small town-only 3,000-4,000 people-that would be better suited for taking Miya for runs on the scooter. It has a lot of trails too)

Was that a custom made harness? Let us know how the scootering is going. I have been trying to work on more ground commands for the skiing, and maybe by next winter Frodo will know what GO means, and that it's the one time he can run like hell and not get in trouble He's actually more of a short sprinter than a cross country runner, that's part of the problem.

I'm not sure if miya can run for a long or short time yet.

Never seen one of these before. Is it made especially for pulling a scooter?
What kind of scooter?

The x-back harness is used for dog sledding, usually. It's also used for carting, scootering, bikejoring, skijoring and other activities where the dog is expected to be running and pulling in front of you.

The scooter is one that doesn't have a motor. There are specific scooters made for dog scootering.

I'm debating between getting either this one:

or this one:

(They come in different colors then what's shown).

I'll most likely get a different scooter from a different brand when I move or Miya and I do different types of trails/terrain when scootering.

Miya looks great and a nice color to! What a cool thing to try out! Do you know what kind of scooters they have for all terrain?

I don't know if Mikey would be a good fit for scootering...he's only 30 pounds but this seems cool for when I get big doggies!

Thanks

I think diggler or pawtrek's brands would be good for all terrain. Diggler makes more models for dog scootering.
