Default Miya's first visit to a dog park:

Today I went with my trainer to the dog park-Miya went along and so did my trainers three dogs(she has four in her house, only two belong to her-One is a foster and the other is a dog she is holding onto for her family member).

The ones that went with are her two dogs(Her older dog and Great dane pup) and also the dog she is holding for a family member.

Here is a picture of Miyavi with Scout(her Best buddy) and Koya(Scout is my trainers dog, Koya is the dog she is holding) and Arizona(In the back, Great dane pup-she's only 17 weeks old)

The "group" pretty much stayed together. I was kind of uneasy about taking Miyavi to the dog park because I've heard bad experiences. Seen them myself too. Also because she hasn't been around other dogs since she snapped a few weeks ago when she was sick.

When I got into my trainers car with her and put her in the back with the other three dogs she wasn't happy and kept snapping at the great dane pup and white Shepherd(who she had met before and seemed to adore) So I brought her up front and she sat on my lap there.

She did great there-she got a little bit of an attitude with some dogs over a ball but I corrected her and she knocked it off. She pretty much stayed with the dogs she knew-interacted mainly with them but other then that she only interacted with humans/stayed by herself.

She stayed close to me. She didn't wander to far, came whenever I called her and if I got too far from her she would come back to me. She sniffed some new dogs and basically ignored/avoided them.

Except when we played fetch. *laughs* I started with the three dogs pictured above and two dogs ended up joining:

At one point there were a lot of dogs playing fetch

There was only one dog there during the two hours we were there that caused an issue-but people got involved to separate and calm both dogs quickly.

I have some videos I took that I'm uploading to Youtube right now, I'll post the videos when they are uploaded!

Thanks! It was fun

The videos are mainly of playing fetch, nothing too exciting-But that's all Miyavi really did was wander around or play fetch

Here's the first video:Dog park 1 - YouTube

Here's the second video: 003 - YouTube

(When I said "Oh did you bring a stick?" It's cause the Rottie brought one to me )

Here's the third video:
005 - YouTube

Me asking Miya if she was going to be nice is because it was taken after Miya started snipping at other dogs trying to get the ball from her

Great videos, looks like she thoroughly enjoyed being with all those dogs.

I can't believe there was an unattended ball for her to pick up with that many dogs around lol !

@Little Lucy- Ha yeah, when I was playing with them and they all positioned themselves like that I thought 'I need to take a picture'. Thanks!

@PMR- Thank you! There were actually a lot of balls there-I brought three myself but ended up keeping them till the end of the trip, I ended up leaving one ball behind(Miya managed to find the other two). But there were balls everywhere on the ground, some destroyed and really old and some were kind of new.
