Default Monster on holiday

Hey guys!

Don't know if you've noticed, but I haven't been around much lately. Monster and I are off visiting my family home and internet access isn't an easy thing up here. But I got a chance to borrow a connected computer so I thought I'd drop by and show you what we're up to. I haven't been able to edit the pictures at all, so sorry if they're a bit dark or something. Hopefully you'll be able to spot Monster anyway, even though his color makes him a bit tricky to photograph...

I keep him on drag leash while we're close to the village, but a couple of minutes out I let him run completely free. It's a great opportunity to work on off leash behavior, and it's going pretty well. We're both enjoying the freedom!

I've only seen one snake so far (nearly stepped on it), which is a good sign - there's a lot of them around here, and I don't know how Monster will react to them. No bears either, thankfully! (There are quite a few bears around here, they're not a danger to people but with a dog you need to be a bit more careful naturally.)

Time to return the computer to its impatient owner! Monster and I are heading back into the forest...

Looks like a very nice vacation. Wish I could take Lucy some place off leash. I have no idea if she has recall.
I would love to see her sniff to her hearts content!

Looks like my kind of vacation...no crowds...no fancy resort thing that I find totally boring.
Is that a giant ant hill in the first shot?
Where are you?

My thoughts exactly. And the landscape looks pretty lovely too - lucky Monster.
