Lots of people told us to get rid of Joe when I was pregnant as he has many issues, aggressive towards anything that moves, doesn't do change, frightened of everything, the list could go on and on....

My how Finley has grown :D

Finley's favourite toys are Joe's toys, they make great teething rings apparently(!) And he seems to think Joe's bed, with Joe in it, is so comfortable. Thankfully Joe doesn't mind and snores through it. Today we had a nostril incident where Finley thought he'd kindly investigate what was UP poor Joe's nostril  Joe just stood there and let him  but don't worry, I quickly grabbed Finley away! x:D

Techie, he's 1year on 7th July!

Oh my! There is no way he's going to be 1 in July? Where has the time gone? I love the pictures... Joe will be his protector, now and always.

DeeLind7, I'm so sad about it, it's gone far to fast :( I really hope you're right although I do get the feeling they will gang up on me and oh soon! LOL! Strangly, Joe is much better behaved when I walk him, pushchair in one hand, him in the other. He'll never be normal on walks but the behaviour he shows on walks with Finley, are managable with one had, and he's easier to deal with x

Lianne, that is so good to hear. I think maybe Joe "knows" that he has to behave around Finley, and watch over him on walks. There is nothing better than the love between a dog and child. Trust me, as Finley gets older, he and Joe WILL gang up on you.... Finley is a child... it's his job... and Joe will be his side kick. I can't wait to see the day when Finley finds the dog bones and decides that he will "share" one with the dog. That's what my twin sister and I did with our dog Smokey, when we were kids. We found the box of dog bones, took one out, and we took turns eating the dog bone with our dog. That was back in the day when Milk Bone dog biscuits were the go to treat for dogs. My poor Mom...... she developed an eye twitch by the time we were 5.

Issues Lianne what issues :) No seriously those pics say it all Absolutely priceless :) Like Dee say Iam pretty sure Joe knowsh your Finley is a child and makes changes the fact that when you take Joe and Finley out together everything goes much more smoothly :) I personaly would praise Joe every time you all come back from a walk as he has already made that nice association with Finley it's really heart warming that bond is so special and it needs nurturing so it can grow and grow :) And one day Finley will probably be able to help with joe's issues. I wouldn't worry about what other people say either cause they are wrong! Do any of those people own a dog? Great work it's one happy family together Proud of Joe I bet you are!!!! ;)

I still have that 'eye twitch' from Kyle and Kyrie and it didn't take until the kid was 5...:D

Course I had a head start on it thanks to the first two...

I am one of SEVEN kids. Two older sisters then me and my Twin, then 2 more girls, and finally my brother. How my Mom ever agreed to have any pet is beyond me. But Smokey, Debbie and I were very close. I managed to climb up on the kitchen counter, take a bottle of baby aspirin out, and we divided it up. One for me, one for Debbie, and one for our dog Smokey. We ate the whole bottle. Tasted like oranges. Yum....
Lianne, just something for you to look forward to.....kids and their dogs.
