Default Sammi the Border Collie

We had no dog, really did not want one.
Had a good wife and 2 young boys. Life was just fine.
Then a knock on the door one night, a friend standing there with this puppy, a collar, and a bag of food.
No joke, i said "no thanks!" and would not let him in. I knew what the end result would be if that little fur ball ended up in our house. She was the last of the litter and needed a home. Well sure enough she fell asleep on my lap and you know the rest of the story. Well this turned out to be the best dog anyone could ask for. SUPER smart, high performance, easily trained. Lives life to make us happy. The best!

What a sweetie! Isn't it amazing how a little ball of fur can turn that spine of steel into jelly? :-) Sammi is lovely and Dozer has someone to show him the ropes (and maybe even how to get around them!)

Beautiful BC.

She reminds me of a friend's dog who recently passed. He was a MACH agility dog, and a fantastic BC. It makes me a little sad.

They are incredible dogs.
She has not been on a leash in years, by my side always. And if not, a snap of the fingers and she is there. So smart.

Moose, what a beautiful girl, and a great story. I can't wait to see pictures of Sammi and Dozer together.

A great story Moose. If I had a friend like that I'd probably be living in the doghouse myself. I did kinda pull something similar to that on my husband though, and that's how we ended up with Frodo.
