Default My poor boy

He's been in and out of sleep since he's been home. He seems to be ok for now.

Aw... what a sad face too. But I bet he is glad to be home. Is Millie giving him some space?

Awwwww... poor guy. I hope Millie is taking care of his brother. What a great new dog bed he has! Give him a big hug and kiss from all of us here at the DF.

At first Millie didn't know what to do. She kept running and jumping around him. She even bumped into him once. I think she is starting to figure out that Rambo can't keep up with her right now. She finally settled down. The jumping thing is definitely going to be a challenge. He has already jumped up on the couch once while I had my back turned for just a second. The vet is going to remove the bandage on Monday and check out the wound. If all goes well, they should be able to take out the sutures next Friday or Saturday. Then it will be a matter of him getting his strength back. Since the surgery wasn't as bad as first expected, the bill was a lot less expensive than what he initially quoted us. Quite a surprise!

Despite that sweet face and those big eyes--don't trust! Chessie did the same thing, trying to jump/climb up on the couch the one instant my back was turned (despite looking like this!)

I agree that you are going to have to be very vigilant.
That is wonderful news all around--the less invasive surgery, the expected quicker recovery, and the lower price (which also leaves more money for "recuperative spoiling" )
