Default Girle: My new gal 8 yrs old vivacious one!

Some do not know that my special pal, Girle, got very ill this past year, had 9 gorgeous puppies March 29. She lost all but one, we saved, my daughter claimed. She was spayed ASAP to help before treatment we did not know what might be in store ahead. July 9 Girle went off to a dermatologist specialists for Pernial Fistulas. That is a deadly anal disease, Rare, known in Shepherds to date, no research done to date. Vets are just scamering to treat dogs, cats with this now to put it kinda in a remission state for the pet of no pain, no bowle problems, etc.

Well, Girle was sedated lightly and was an angel they said. She was fully tested, saline put through her two main anal sacs, one it ran nicely through, the right one oozed. It was badly infected, they sent a sample to special lab for cancer. Call came, it was clear, just badly infected. I thanked GOD that she only had this after past two years loosing her pups, my vet missed this and I.

She is on Clavomax and another two big caps twice daily along with a steriod she is being weaned off. Wanted you all to see her July 23 looking so happy, pain free, eating great, pigment back and just my best friend other than Gino my senior male. I am sooooo happy she has some great years left I pray. I adore this female that had such awesome pups of almost always 9 fat, juicy sweet dark squealing babes born. I never got to keep one, but Mandi, daughter, has a female bottle fed, just outrageous. Will get a photo with my new Cannon Rebel 450 SLR camera, still learning to use it.

What great news Pat; you've got to be ecstatic! After all the two of you have been through together it's fantastic to hear Girle is doing so well.

Give her an extra hug from Greta and I!

I have been thinking of you both over the last few months since you posted that she was very ill. I was too afraid to ask you how she was going. Now I know & what wonderful news for you, Pat & Girle. She looks beautiful in the photo.
