What nice pictures and an adorable baby picture, I love how they puppy sit like that. I think the times that they create 'trouble' as puppies becomes even cuter in retrospect when you can really appreciate it.

Hi Jackie

What a lovely picture of Bandit as a puppy. What do you mean 'old man' hey he's still as handsome as ever. Don't know whether he's your cup of tea or not but look at Pierce Brosnan - doesn't he improve with age? Bandit looks very very wise. And yes, please God you have a number of years with him yet.

Yes we do remember the happy times!

Wonderful post. Great pics, I loved them, OMG, is there anything cuter than a boxer pup! But I more love the true meaning of the post, something I try to live by. They take us for better or for worse, believe me, my dogs see more of my better and my worse than any other living soul, yet they still love us. In return, I also take them for better and for worse and love them all the more for it.

The side message is that while we all expect that cute little puppy to always be healthy, sometime it doesn't always happen and seeing how well they adapt and still remain happy is an inpiration for when age or problems creep up on us all.

Sigh, sorry, guess I'm in sappy mode tonight, lol. It's just that the pics reminded me so much of the chow cross I lose almost a year ago. She was a tiny, 6 week old, ball of fluff I carried home in one hand from the pound. 80 pounds later and for the next 15 years we handled big time behavior problems, hip dysplasia, eplilepsy, and huge amounts constantly shedding undercoat in the house. But through it all, she always remaind MY girl first and foremost.

What a handsome boy. So cute as a puppy and yes a little grayer now but just as cute. Lovely pictures. I think boxers have one of the cutest faces as puppies and as adults.

Really cute at 9 weeks and really distinguished at 9 years.

Big hugs to Bandit and some to Millie too, so she does not feel left out.
