Default Pics of dogs from all decades

I believe it was Sheltie Lover who posted pics of dogs from her past no longer with her. Thought I do so also. Here are my childhood up to current dogs.

This is a pic of my first and second dog. The first is Tuffy, our family's terrier mix. We got Tuffy when I was four The second was my own first dog, Ruffis, a rough golden collie. He was my first obedience dog. I got Ruffis when I was 13.

Ruffis again. He was a loyal, loving dog.

My second dog. I got him my last semester in college. He was a genius terrier mix and died only a few years ago. I still miss him.

Razz and I at the park.

My current four. I love this pic! R-L Laika, Asher, Jericho, Aslan

To add to the collection:

Royal is the big one, my mom's Sheltie when I was growing up. The little pup is Calypso.
I need to find and scan a photo of Frisky, my childhood spaniel mutt.

Ok, starting at the top... Me, Stormy (brother's adopted mutt, left this earth many years ago), Fizzgig (mom's Pom), Calypso, and Nenana (same brother's husky)

Calypso and Fizzgig

Wee lil' Ashenpaw not long after he came to our house.

Calypso, Ashenpaw (grown up) and Mya

Fizzgig and Taliesin (my folks Pom's) visiting our house for a week while they were out of the country.

The current crew: Mya, Ashenpaw, and Parker the adopted Rough Collie who seems like he always belonged here.

This is such a lovely topic - it's so nice to see all the doggies of the past, even though I'm welling up a bit.

Ok, here's some of ours...

Starting at the beginning, here's our Pyrenean Mountain dogs Giles and Elsa and Sandy the mini dachie wiggling out of my grandmother's lap. My gran is the woman who has taught me so much about dogs, she's an amazing lady.

Here's another with Elsa and 2 of the dachies JJ (red) and Sandy(more golden and curly) with my dad and my step-grandad.

Here's Laddie, the elderly rough collie we rescued when I was a teenager

The love of my life Tizzy the springer - never to be replaced and my 'heart dog' - also with our old cat Toby

I love the one of all four lined up on the sofa - they look like little angels

What a cool idea! And what great pics! This is a blast!

I have some! But these are not my dogs, they are dogs that I lived with or was otherwise close to.

The first one shows me with "Missy" who was the dog at the summer camp I went to for several years. This is a real OLD pic!

The second one is from when I was living in southern California and was sharing a house with a lady who had two boys and two dogs. The bigger dog's name was Ozark and I forogt the smaller dog's name. Ozark was always getting into mischief, like tearing the clothes off the clothesline. Also we used to go for walks in the desert and poor Ozark never figured out that it was a bad idea to investigate the cacti. We pulled a lot of thorns out of poor Ozark's snout.

The third one is from when I was in grad school in northern California and the dog is a Husky named Kyloo. Kyloo was a great dog. When we had a group of people we would start howling and Kyloo of course would join in. Poor Kyloo was tied up in the yard because her mommy was in class. Kyloo had a thing about wandering off. So the deal was whoever got home could take Kyloo off the tether and play with her, which of course I did. I also took Kyloo for runs when I went bike riding. And I remember very clearly the day when Kyloo, my boyfriend and I were out for a walk and some nasty dog came roaring out from behind a house and started snarling at Kyloo. We held Kyloo on the leash and tried to back slowly away. Then Kyloo lunged forward, and the next thing we knew, that dog was whimpering and running away. We started walking away. From behind the house we heard a woman's voice scold the dog and then say "Is that blood on your snout?" We walked a little faster. Kyloo never barked or snarled, she just took care of business. A year or so after I moved into another place, Kyloo and her owners were walking around on campus. I recognized Kyloo but not the other grad students. Too bad the pic is blurry, Kyloo was a beautiful dog.
