Awwww Suze that's lovely, she's such a little cutie

I have to say that she reminds me of one of the gremlins from the movie! Especially in the second picture

Nellie the Patterdale terrorist....what will she get up to next?

Yeah we did nickname her Stripe for a while - she had a terrible temper as a puppy!

My fave pic is the one of her galloping past the camera.

She is so sweet I love all of the photos, especially the third one down in the second lot, but how come you got her at 6 weeks?

Hi Chaz, yes the dirty face one! As for how we got her at 6 weeks.......its a long story! Suffice to say, I was a first time dog owner and when the very amateur breeder insisted the pups were ready and could be brought home, I didn't know any better.

Fortunately, with plenty of avid reading, dedication, trips to the vet and advice from this forum, we haven't had any problems with her and she is fit, happy and really quite well adjusted. You are absolutely right though, she was much much too young to leave her mum at that age.

Hey Shep, glad you liked 'em!! I've only just learnt how to paste pics into posts you see, I could only do thumbnails before........

They are gorgeous photos, and its good that you've been able to prevent problems with her, she is so gorgeous but I've never seen such a hairy patterdale.

I know, she was supposed to be smooth-coated hahaha! Oh well! She's also very small for the breed.....

I saw both of the parents where she was born, Dad Ralph was quite a big working Patterdale with a rough but short coat, and Mum was a similar size and smooth-coated - although she did have oddly hairy legs and face, hence her name Sprout I think!

I don't know why Nells has ended up so small though. Perhaps the stress of her early weeks stunted her growth
