Kai with his only toy to last for more than a week, but maybe not for long......

Kai advancing closer to his prey

capturing the beast

disabling his victim

Hearing Leah (my sis) coming

trying not to look suspicious

looking innocent with his very convincing cover story.

What cute pictures :-) Kai looks like he is enjoying his monkey. Chessie's favorite toys are plush animals too, and we have a strange menagerie of eyeless, earless, footless, legless, and tailless "friends" that she just won't give up. Some of them I can't even remember what they started out as!

It's his first cuddly toy as my dad got fed up finding bits of plastic toys everywhere and doesn't find rubber ducks in the pond funny anymore so we got him this cushion and he hasn't made a hole in it so far (fingers crossed).

What great photos, Kai sure is a gorgeous dog! It nice seeing such a healthy looking collie, they are the most popular breed where I am, but they all work, and most live outdoors, they certainly don't look as good as Kai does!

Thanks for sharing his fun with us

They are very popular here as well. There are new adverts for them nearly everyday so people buy a cute puppy for 50 without researching because they are cheaper than rescue fees. Then when they reach 6 months they are advertised again because people people didn't give them adequate training and stimulation and can't cope with the loopy ball of energy that shares their house.
Kai is a lovely dog and we have been asked several times if we would breed him but that's something I would never consider as there are far too many great dogs here that need to be given a second chance and if I contribute to the puppy population they wont be given it.

Sorry for the rant but people don't realise what they are getting themselves into when they see that cute puppy face looking up at them and its heart breaking to watch.

Most go for free here, its such a remote area, and on an island, its not like there's even that many people around. I know of a family who refuses to neuter.spay their 3 collies, and then boast about how many puppies they have drowned
