Hey that was really cool. Gorgeous water and tides and Jake could of cared less, he really goes way out. I sold a puppy in 06, went to the shore of Jersey, N.J. and they took it too young to the beach, wave caught it and it went flying out, they retrieved it but the photos show only a dot on the photo. I love water, I envy anybody near a beach, but my skin shoes brown spots from too much sun through the years of tanning.....

I love your pictures. Jake looks like he's really enjoying the water. My favorite was Jake taking a nap with the "Swimming" caption above his head.

Corse he loves to swim - he's an Irish Water Spaniel! LOL. He dives too in the River and for no reason other than he just likes to go down to the bottom. I would not have believed it had I not seen it with my own eyes, but the breed can leap straight out of the water into a boat!

I have to be careful with my colouring - typical irish, dark red hair, freckles! Hubby's always paranoid making sure I've got Factor 50 (yes 50) on.

I have a diving dog too - its amazing to see them duck under the water rather than swim along the surface. I still worry about distance though as she has swum outwards til she is a dot! Shes fit and healthy but i stil worry. Once she's back and is like "what?" she's off again. I dont know if she can jump out onto a boat though - or if she would want to!
Lovely pics.

That looks beautiful - and so secluded! I love the one of Jake snoozing and dreaming of swimming some more.
Is it warm? Maybe we'll come visit!

Beautiful pictures. Jake looks like a happy dog. And I have to say what a beautiful shot of the city/town at sundown.

Yesterday it was very warm - low 20s - but today its cool - 15 (raining). Our beaches are very quiet - you can walk for two hours along a beach and see perhaps 10 people.

Have a look at this you'll see what I mean.

All our beaches along the Moray Firth are similar - we get the gulf stream. And, of course we have dolphins, whales, seals, sea eagles, and the occasional human.
