Default Mickey and Poppy :)

Hey
Ok, I thought I would share with you all my pride and joy Mickey. We (the family) have owned him for about 6 months now and we think he is about 20 months old, As you can probably already tell from that statement he is a rescue dog, Like all my dogs present and past. He is a blue merle collie cross and thats what makes him so fun to train because he learns so quickly. Anyway enough of my babbling here are some pics of him

This shot is mainly because of his eyes because when I describe him to people they get confused about him having a half blue eye and a 1/4 blue eye lol

Here he is looking proud

And here he is looking like butter wouldn't melt lol

Ok, On to our second dog. She is named Poppy, We mainly got her for a friend for Mickey, But the two couldn't be more different! Not only because Mickey is mainly white and Poppy is mainly black, But because their personalities are totally chalk and cheese, Poppy's a totally extroverte whereas Mickey is reserved, the list of differences could go on forever. Despite their differences though they getting on well and like pulling each others ears lol The vet told us that Poppy is 1/2 collie and half pure mongrel (Bless) Whereas Mickey is thought to be 3/4 blue merle collie and 1/4 husky, But many people think he is husky because of his eyes but they don't realise the different colour eyes are a blue merle trait.. I don't think he has husky in him but who knows lol
I only have one photo of Poppy at the moment because we've only had her for about 6 weeks. We've been told that she's probably about 1 year old, But she looks very puppy like. This photo didn't come out too well because her coat is so glossy the colours really mess up and look odd lol, But heres the photo anyway

Well this has turned out to be quite a long post lol, So I'll stop now hehe

Thanks for reading (If you got this far!)
