Unhappy Sun Burn?

I just noticed Rascals' tummy is all red when we got back from our walk this morning. She insisted on laying out in the sun the last couple of days. I tried to keep her in as much as I could. The heat (high 80s low humidity) was making me sick.
Fortunately today is supposed to be in the mid 70s and I could take our walk at the usual time.

I've never had a dog get sunburn from laying out in the sun. Was Rascal laying in grass? Could it be an allergy?

I've always worried a bout sun burn on too, but never seen any evidence of it, no matter how much Roly like to lay in the sun. You do see warnings about it though.

Give her tummy a good wash, just incase she has come into contact with something that has irritated her..

She was laying on concrete. It went away after a couple of hours. Of course she goes though grass all the time on our walks. If people here don't mow once a week here this time of year the grass get really long fast.

Sounds more like an allergy than sun burn. Glad she's better....
